As far as I can tell, Odin has popped in to drop one comment and nothing else. While day 1 has been slow as a whole, I think we’ve gotten at least a bit more than this from everyone else. Yeah that's been Odin's MO for pretty much every game. And is probably the main reason he's been knocked out early consistently. We should just keep reading the room. Those voting for a kill, why are you doing so? Math seems to suggest that will create an uphill challenge for the town should we execute a Civ day1. I’m on Canes to try and get conversation and avoid a majority early. As always, I think No Kill is fine but we can’t squelch conversation by agreeing to that too early. |

So are we at 5 votes for no execution and 3 votes for Canes with Odin and I having votes on other players? Is that correct? This is what I can tell from initially looking at Matt’s count. Tried to do a quick recount but that’s what I see. |

the smart strategy in order to give power civs an opportunity at night is to play no kill but apparently that doesn't fit in soup's world.

I see no point in joining these games, making a single post and ghosting. Or not making any post at all. In the past we voted off in actives because they have no value for the town.

not sure there is a ton of value in it, any vote switch to no execution could be defended as pro town. any actual vote on someone day 1 could be cover later in the game, ex: "i voted for xxxx on day one!" also easy to hide a day one vote in no exec. this is going to come down to power roles being able to get their night info out before getting got and the mafia not getting lucky in hitting one on night 1/2. i think day 3 we'll see a situation with multiple role claims and general misinformation campaigns to cause confusion since the mafia will likely only have to swing 1 vote at that time
