I'm not drafting an Auburn player with Odin as commish. Odin also made champ amazing last time as well

This Melvin Turpin pick is interesting. Just some thoughts here: Melvin Turpin C 6'11'' 240 24 A- C C- C+ C+ D
Strengths: Inside Blocking Jumper
Weaknesses: Rebounding Handling Post Defense
Not sure if you read that "For the New GMs" article yet, but Turpin's got a few really good things going for him. His strengths are very good within the software. Inside is the most important attribute when it comes to scoring, and Jumper means he's got a good mid-range game and is a good free throw shooter. Blocking is by far the best defensive attribute a guy can have, so that's good too. The weak rebounding is a bit scary, but rebounding is one of the fastest growing attributes for big men, so Duc is probably hoping that grows over time. As for poor handling, passing factors heavily into the handling grade. If he has bad handling, it may mean his passing is poor, which means he won't try to pass and therefore will shoot more. We've already established he's a good shooter inside, so the poor handling may actually be a positive. I'm oversimplifying a bit I think, but these are some starter tips.

From what you write I assume potential showing atm shouldn't be taken in consideration at all. Still he's 24, if he doesn't start producing quickly his numbers are going down hard by 27.
But I've seen fbb do weird shit in the past, can't imagine what it does nowadays so... is an interesting pick.

Otis Thorpe at 2.2 looks like a pretty big steal with Inside, Strength, and Rebounding being his strengths.

I omitted him because he was raised LDS, but never practiced past early childhood. He'd slot in at 3/4 otherwise.
