Deciding to eschew both North Carolina Tar Heels football and basketball for his junior season, Julius Peppers declares for the TMBSL Rookie Free Agency. Looking to get mega paid, the bruising athletic young man has a lot of raw potential yet to be realized. Mostly a reserve forward for the Tar Heels, he made his money on powerful dunks and blocks in clutch situations. However, given extended playing time his inability to commit to fundamentals in defense and rebounding cost his team points in the less emotionally intense situations. Not extremely explosive, or quick, he often relies on strength to score inside the paint, lacking a wide array of post moves. He also struggles to stay in front of his man on the perimeter but is solid when defending similarly-sized players in the post, oftentimes racking up multiple blocks per game.
