DK Metcalf 6'4" 229 21
SG Mississippi
Playing two years at Mississippi, DK Metcalf was a generational talent (for Mississippi). A silky smooth shooter from all over the court, DK scored in bunches for the Rebels. Because of the dirth of talent on the team, he had very limited opportunities to get other teammates involved, leaving scouts bewildered on what his ability to facilitate would look like at the next level. However, he displays good handles and scoring acumen off the dribble and in pull-up situations.
A former track athlete, scouts are not concerned about DK's speed or jumping ability being satisfactory in TMBSL, but with little athletic development in his two years down south, scouts believe that he may have peaked physically. Defensively, however, DK is a trainwreck. While he starts out strong, he quickly gets tired (mentally? physically?) of guarding his man as the game goes on and the score gets further out of hand. Scouts are disappointed over this, as he has all the physical tools to be a plus defender at the next level.
