Antonio Gates 6'3" 240 21 SF
Kent State
A dazzling player on the wing, Antonio has been the star at Kent State leading them to a conference championship on the back of over 20 points per game. His efficiency is solid, shooting over 50% for his career from the field due to his bruising style, oftentimes bullying players much taller than him in the post. He also was not afraid of taking threes in his junior season and making them at a respectable clip of 35%. A decent but not dazzling jump shooter, Antonio loves the ball in his hands. Unfortunately, he struggled to get his teammates involved, and was also not a good ball handler, oftentimes having more turnovers than assists.
Defensively, he wasn't anything to write home about, with average athleticism and being undersized for the position even in the college ranks. He wasn't a sieve, but defensive stats are not his forte. However, he has a knack for grabbing rebounds on the defensive end (no it wasnt stat padding!!! lol).
