A player full of high highs and low lows... Ruland could be a project for a more confident GM. He's the youngest player in the class, so he should have an extra year of development in him. The good? He scores hyper-efficiently (a career .635 FG%), rebounds like a mad man, and blocks enough shots to be a deterrent at the rim. The bad? His FT stroke is pretty ugly, he is an absolute TO machine, and he won't give you any box score stats at all in assists or steals. He's physically strong, but very ground-bound... and slow. Very very slow. He's an odd player that could pan out if everything hits right... otherwise he may end up out of the league by the end of his rookie deal.
