A pure stretch 4, Stotts is not a banger down low and prefers to operate outside of the paint. He is a competent ball-handler and rarely turns the ball over. He should be able to be very competent knocking down corner 3s in TMBSL, spacing the floor for a more traditional big and giving open driving lanes for his guard/wing teammates. Defensively, his small size really hurts his ability to rebound or alter shots... but he's a heady player with fast hands, so he will at least rack up steals and anticipate passes extremely well to deflect and deny post-entry.
