Coming out of DUUUUUVALLLLLL, James (not Earl) Ray brings a ton of boom/bust potential to the league. He has all of the raw skills you want to see in a player, as he's fast, strong, and can jump out of the gym... but his basketball IQ is spotty at best. He has underperformed on the court at Jacksonville, never rebounding the ball well, never blocking many shots, sticking with his man, and having some issues with TOs... but scouts still see something. He's a 50%+ shooter from the floor, has good mechanics on his jumper (but not great results yet)... and has the willingness to shoot form outside. His potential is through the roof, assuming he lands in an organization that can be patient and work with him to maximize he assets and minimize his faults... which isn't a guarantee.
