Bam Adebayo C 6'9" 249 19 Kentucky
Adebayo is an elite athlete for a player of his build. He is at his best in the open court where he can turn the burners on and beat opposing bigs down the floor easily. Great as the roll man in the pick-and-roll, he dives hard to the rim and finishes with authority and can play well above the rim. While a 3pt shot is unlikely to develop, he is comfortable shooting between 10-16 feet out. His FT stroke hasn't caught up to that yet, but it is better than some of the elite guards in this class and it isn't out of the question that he could shoot in the mid 70s. On offense he is also very comfortable passing out of the high post and finds shooters incredibly well for a young big man. He really can excel in a position-less basketball set-up... on both ends. He is an elite post defender, stonewalling opponents with his strength and high-pointing shots well for high block #s... all without much fouling. He is fast enough and smart enough to guard some wings as well, so he is an asset in a trapping style. Surprisingly, he is a weak defensive rebounder for a big with his talents... especially considering his proclivity to excel on the offensive glass. That will need to improve greatly at the next level.
