Lonzo Ball
PG 6'6" 190 19 UCLA
One of the more unique prospects to enter the league in quite some time, Lonzo Ball is an enigma of a player in almost every way. He is a dichotomy in almost each individual facet of the game: A masterful 3pt shooter with seemingly unlimited range, but he can't hit a free throw to save his life... A fantastic on-ball defender and stealer, but off-ball he loses his man constantly and is unable to focus on his assignments... A fantastic rebounder in traffic, but really struggles to finish in traffic... a unique and masterful dribbler and passer, but he gives it away too often. Of all of those skills, most scouts believe he will adapt to the speed of TMBSL and become a safer ball-handler, while the others may never be totally shaken. His shooting form is so unusual that scouts don't think it's possible to fix while maintaining his excellent efficiency outside. His frame is thin, but stronger than it appears. His first-step is a tad slow, which has hindered his defense against the fastest PGs and hurt his ability to enter the lane ahead of his defender.
