Pennies Trade Cap Increase (241 views)

Over 400K pennies spent in the primary scouts market this year. I didn't even check the secondary market but its mere existence serves my point, the average pennies transaction has clearly increased, so too should the cap on the amount that can be traded for. 

I think 50K is appropriate. Open for debate.

50+ would include infinity which is the same thing... so it's kinda there

If there’s no picks to trade in the future there shouldn’t be a cap

my main points here:

1. you should, at the very minimum, be able to trade whatever the price to fully scout a player is.

2. with rookie fa incoming we legitimately NEED to go uncapped

My thought when I first saw this poll was "We probably shouldn't even have a cap."

eric, do you want to weigh in here so we know if no cap is an option or if we need to come up with an exact number at or above 50K?

i agree we need something in rookie fa to replace picks and less trade cap is a reasonable place to start

since we're essentially phasing out picks, i think phasing in a cap increase of 10k a year for each year when five years out won't have picks makes sense

this will also let us evaluate how less cap changes trade dynamics gradually
