A 20/20 machine at small American University, "Special K" has a real fighting spirit and scouts expect him to be a monster on the boards at the next level. A two-time academic All-American, Washington is a real student of the game as well, and his study has largely been in positioning, strength, and technique to leverage the most boards away from his opponents as possible. He's incredibly strong from head to toe. He is constantly outworking and outsmarting taller players around the rim to secure the ball. He is unafraid of diving for loose balls or entering a scuffle and quickly ending it. He's not a natural shot blocker, but is a strong defender for his position. His offensive game is not particularly well-rounded, but doesn't have any glaring/scary weaknesses on that end.
