Jamaal Wilkes SF 6'6" 201 21 UCLA
The Robin to Walton's Batman at UCLA, Wilkes enters the league ready to show that he can be a lead superhero. He is more of a scorer than anything else, who finds himself working inside around the rim quite often. His ability to hit longer shots in TMBSL is suspect, as he never developed that skill, despite growing substantially into a very good FT shooter at UCLA. The only big question at the next level is his strength. He has long arms, loves to get inside, and is an explosive leaper... but his frame is slight and he just might not be strong enough to continue playing in the same way against professionals instead of Pac-8 amateurs. On defense he's shown enough that he won't be considered a liability, but he also won't be bringing home any defensive hardware. There is some division among scouts regarding his future growth, but the general consensus is that he is both a high-floor and high-ceiling professional, if everything clicks for him.
