Swen Nater C 6'11" 251 23 UCLA
Arriving at UCLA as a transfer student the same year as the much ballyhooed Bill Walton, Nater went in knowing he would only get limited minutes to showcase his game. As such, he never started a game at UCLA, but scouts are in love with what he could be in the future, especially as a rebounding specialist. His primary role at UCLA was to make Walton better, and make Walton work... and he consistently out-hustled and out-muscled his teammate for boards in practice. He's strong and athletic, much quicker than he appears at first blush. His inside moves are limited, but efficient. His FT% isn't unplayable, but it's clearly not a strength for the Dutch-American. He really could blossom out of Walton's shadow, especially given his propensity to take care of the ball and play hard in any system.
