Sagaba Konate
C 22 6'8" 250 B- C C B C+ C
Scouting Report:
Sagaba Konate is the best rim defender in the NCAA. 3,2 BPG (5th in NCAA) 15.5% Block Percentage (1st in NCAA) DBPM 9.7 (1st in Big 12, 5th in NCAA) Though undersized at 6'8 Konate is an absolute beast on the defensive side of the ball around the rim. The best shot blocker in the country, he is also more than respectable at rebounding with the 3rd best rebounding percentage in the Big 12. He defends the PnR well, with his only defensive weaknesses coming on the perimeter. He doesn't generate a lot of steals, either. On offense, he is an interesting work in progress. While it seems far fetched to think he'll ever be launching 3's at will, the chance of an outside game is clear with his recently improving mid-range jumper around the elbow, and a good conversion rate at the line (75%). Shows powerful inside scoring, especially when catching lobs and when left open, not the best at catching hard passes, nor at dishing them out. which limits his ability to get involved in the offensive gameplan, but also limits turnovers. People were surprised when the entire NCAA decided to declare for the TMBSL 5.0 draft simultaneously, but one thing everyone knew was that Konate would be one of the best new entries into the league.

Nice, glad we're starting things off with a good D/R big.
