Transactions
- Chosen with the third overall selection in the 2022 TMBSL Rookie Draft by the Detroit Pistons after Wilt Chamberlain went first overall to Orlando and Elgin Baylor went second to Portland
- After offering to re-sign a MAX with the Pistons following the expiration of his rookie deal, made the unprecedented choice not to re-sign on day 1 after the Pistons attempted to illegally accept his re-sign which would have put them over the hard cap. Spurning multiple other MAX offers, Russell waited until day 2 to re-sign with Detroit after they cleared cap space by amnestying Chris Webber
- Re-signed again with the Pistons in 2032 for $94,500,000 over five years
- Left the only city he had ever called home to sign an MLE with the Harlem Globetrotters in 2037
- Retired as a Globetrotter following the 2037 season
