Willie Cauley-Stein C 7'0" 241 21 Kentucky
"Trill" Willie is extremely nimble, and an explosive and quick leaper. Willie also has tremendous defensive abilities, excelling at hedging on pick and rolls, as well as protecting the rim. He’s seen a dip in shot blocking numbers due to his use as a pick and roll defender, and Karl Anthony Towns being used as the primary paint enforcer (despite being a significant downgrade at that skill), but as a sophomore WCS blocked 2.9 shots per game as Kentucky’s primary rim protector. His physical tools should allow these elite defensive traits to translate to the TMBSL level. He can defend much smaller players on the perimeter and can be a legitimate DPOY threat in the future. His defensive rebounding suffers though, as he chases blocks frequently, not because he's bad at rebounding. In fact, his offensive rebounding is his biggest offensive skill, where he is a terror going to the glass and high pointing errant shots. He is a non-factor handling/passing the ball. He is a non-factor shooting the ball. He is a non-factor shooting free throws, where even his massive "improvement" in college leaves him in the low 60s.
