Mayo is a very explosive scorer, able to fill it up in a hurry and in a variety of ways. A volume shooter, he has streaky tendencies, but he'll get shots up. He averaged over 3.5 TOs a game in his freshman season, though, so he'll need to control that aspect of his game to be more successful in TMBSL. Possesses range well beyond the TMSBL 3pt line. Both his elevation and stroke are exceptional, combining to make him one of the better shooters this class has to offer. Has a ton of bounce in his game, with a reputed 40"+ vertical. Because he is forced to finish in a crowd every time he goes to the hoop, he seems to settle for the outside shot because it is less demanding on his body. When he buckles down defensively, he gives fits to many players, but he doesn't buckle down near enough. He really struggles guarding bigger players though, and is a non-factor on the boards.
