A relative unknown, Cheeks is the player flying fastest up the draft boards right now. Scouts see an unselfish, work-horse PG who has a ton of room to grow with proper coaching and being around better players. He is a pitbull of a defender on the perimeter and often becomes a one-man trap, leaving opposing PGs flummoxed and out of rhythm. He needs to add range to his jumpshot, could tighten up his handles, and never really hits the glass, but the rest of the package is quite intriguing.
