Shawn Kemp
Denver Nuggets/Detroit Pistons (2011-2027)
At a Glance - Shooters shoot; high volume scorer who did it efficiently and a no doubt Hall of Famer whose name is all over our all-time leaderboards
- His defense and rebounding were passable and even good enough for several All-Defense honors, but his offense and his uniquely high usage rates coupled with great scoring efficiency was what made him a TMBSL legend
- One of the rare one-team wonders of TMBSL, playing with Mike's Pistons for the entirety of his 17-year career in TMBSL
- Very sweaty
- His career high total of 74 points in a game is tied with Daniel Taurasi for the best individual game outing in TMBSL 5.0 history
- Exceeded 30 points per game in a season six times (and got to 29+ another five times), topping out at 37.0 points per game in 2019
- One of seven players to ever top 200 total win shares, finishing seventh all-time with 202 for his career
- He aged like a fine wine and in his final three seasons recorded a WS/48 mark of .239, good for 11th best in the league over that time span (his career marks are legendary as well with his total of .224 good to tie for 24th best of all-time)
- Was an absolute terror in the paint, getting to the free throw line so much he recorded 4 of the top 37 seasons of all-time for free throws attempted
- Recorded 4 of the 14 best seasons for field goal percentage of all-time (all higher that 57.9%) and 6 of the top 38
- 3 of the top 36 field goal made seasons of all time, 3 of the top 50 for pts/tsa
- He did have some turnover issues, finishing second all-time with 2911 turnovers (still hilariously 1500 turnovers behind Zion Williamson all-time)
- Tied for second all-time in career field goal percentage, fourth all-time in career points scored (and one of only 4 players to break 35,000 points for a career), fourth all-time in career free throws made (3rd in attempts), fourth all-time in career field goals made (seventh in attempts), 6th all-time in career points per true shot attempt (and one of only 14 players ever to finish their career with higher than 1.20 pts/tsa), 7th all-time in career rebounds, 12th all-time in career minutes played, and 26th all-time in career blocks
- In his farewell season in Detroit, he wowed everyone in attendance at the 2027 All-Star game and was named All-Star MVP in his final season
