A stretchy-4 that operates best as a spot-up man, Cummings has a silky smooth jumper. Not a creator, as he is a bit loose with the rock and doesn't hit teammates in stride. Incredibly fast for a big man, which is useful on the glass as he angles and gets to caroms quickly.
Defensively he prefers to stay tight on his man, so he doesn't take many chances on loose balls or create much havoc in passing lanes/on entry passes.
