I'm back in the sim league after a long break, its overdue for some overreactions
1.09 - Knicks - Firsto Picko C 6'10'' 220 23 A C+ B B- B- C (3 years)
Firsto's Inside Scoring and Strength are apparently both at 100, and after a +25 in shot blocking, Mr. Picko looks like he's going to be the best big man, if not the best player in the league for possibly the next 10 years.
2.12 - Grizzlies - Stephon Templeton C 6'11'' 265 27 A C+ C- B+ C+ C (3 years)
How a 27 year old A C+ scoring center fell all the way to 2.12 I'll never know, on top of his elite scoring, Templeton appears to be one of the few bigs capable of blocking more than 1.5 shots per 36. Druce's front court with Mikan and Stephon will be a problem for the rest of the league for the next half decade.
2.21 - Rockets (from Knicks) - Brain Winter PG 5'11'' 185 25 C+ A- A- B C- C (1 year)
So Odin wasn't yanking anybody's chains when he called the Rockets the best team by far after the draft, Brain Winter appears to be the only elite PG from the creation file and the Rockets were able to nab him with the 50th pick, Brain appears to be a lock for MVP for the first few seasons.
3.06 - Spurs - Gam-Zish Tibernes PG 6'4'' 190 34 C B A B C+ D (2 years)
The newly invigorated mj had the balls to draft an actual Argonian with a creation 3rd, AND IT WORKED! Not only worked, but a case could be made for Gam-Zish as the second best PG in the entire league at that, bravo mj, bravo.
3.14 - Rockets - Harry Gallatin PF 6'8'' 230 30 B+ C C C+ A+ D (5 years)
We get it, the Rockets are good and we probably should have overlooked Harry G's A+ rebounding, grats on the creation season title pete...
5.25 - Timberwolves - DJ Rony C 6'10'' 235 31 B- D+ C- B+ B+ C (5 years)
Good news for me is that it appears my sim nostalgia worked out and I drafted one of like 3 d/r bigs that could make a roster spot on a 4.0 contender. Bad news for me is DJ Rony is not nearly good enough to make up for the rest of my dogshit draft.
1.01 - Timberwolves (from Globetrotters) - Collin Sexton SG 6'1'' 190 19 B C+ C+ B C+ A (3 years)
Yo dawg Sexton had 2 TOs per game as a backup, I'm not having Grant Hill PTSD flashbacks, this is fine, everything is fine, we're fine...
1.02 - Hornets - RJ Barrett SF 6'7'' 200 19 B- B- C B- C+ A (4 years)
The preseason scoring leader was picked in the next pick, and Bossert sure as fuck shot better than 38% FG
1.06 - Warriors - Luka Doncic SG 6'8'' 230 19 B B- B- C C+ A (3 years)
CPU draft survey says:
1.17 - Bullets - Trae Young SG 6'2'' 180 19 C A- B C+ D+ B (3 years)
Someone named George Mikan was picked after Trae, and he has A+ inside scoring
MVP
1. Brain Winter (Rockets) - 29.9 ppg, 11.7 apg, 2.3 spg on 51/89/46 shooting
No brainer (no pun) lock for the MVP, led preseason in assists, top 10 in steals, had no apparent TO issues and is a 30 ppg scorer to boot. Its gonna be a while before any youngsters catches up to the Brain for best point guard in the league.
2. Firsto Picko (Knicks) - 32.1 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 2.1 spg on 54.6% FG
He had 100 inside scoring and strength...
3. Gary Bossert (Jazz) - 34.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.6 spg, 0.9 TOs on 49/92/43 with 6.8 3-pointers attempted per game
Remember that time pod save five point o thought Bossert was a risky pick?
ROTY
1. DeAndre Ayton (Bucks) - 25.6 ppg, 10.9 ppg, 2.1 stocks on 47% FG
Only 20 years old, with some TC luck he could enter the conversation with Firsto as the best big man in the league in 5 years when the rest of the creation bigs starts declining.
2. Cameron Reddish (Mavericks) - 18.3 ppg 6.3 rpg, 0.9 TOs on 48/93/41 shooting
About the only teenager picked in the first round that looks like he doesn't have any major flaws, get his volume up a bit and he's a top 5 SG in the league within a year or two.
3. Collin Sexton (Timberwolves) - 18 ppg on 47% FG
Wishful thinking...I'm fine, everything is fine, this is fine, no Grant Hill, you're the Grant Hill...
