Here are my thoughts.
He was a consistent GM for 20 seasons before contraction.
He was not a positive presence after contraction.
He has made a good faith effort to become part of the league again.
I think it's reasonable to give him one more shot, the same way I'd give IanBoyd or Bankz or any other contentious GM another shot.
If it turns out bad, I've got it covered - there won't be a repeat of how he left last time.

As it happens, Bill is in the Dorian zone and probably won't be around for expansion tomorrow or to address anything today, but he sent me a list so expansion will proceed.

I have to imagine that there's a reason you didn't announce that BK was coming back for days as everyone was asking. You know it's not the right thing to do. He was not a positive presence after contraction. Or before. |

I simply vote no.
Even when he was on his best "BK Behavior" it was still annoying and off-putting.
Doesnt seem like a consensus will matter though as Eric has his mind made up.

Why don't you share the messages he sent you that have been so convincing? It's also worth noting that he has refused to make his case publicly to the rest of the league. |

It's also worth noting that he has refused to make his case publicly to the rest of the league. making a well received article, trying to run a mafia game, and sending a list for expansion. i told him he had to convince me, and he did. i didn't anticipate this level of league antipathy, or i would have made convincing other GMs a more explicit part of the process. that's my fault, not his |

I think I’ve been as anti as anyone... but I trust eric and I’m willing to be forgiving, but not blind.
If eric has a plan to move forward if issues arise, I have full faith he will execute that plan with extreme precision and prejudice.
In short, sure.

outside of his manic episodes billy really isn't that bad anymore. he's obviously got some demons but he's an active gm and we should just expect the occasional melt down at this point
