Let's let Kujo amnesty Klay's contract (214 views)

Came up in Shout so I wanted to poll it to preempt eric's inevitable request.

Kujo's doing his best to stay involved and I don't think we should force his first few seasons in the league to be severely hampered by an offer he made a day after joining the league.

He's currently forced to save up bucks to amnesty Klay so he can make some real moves, which means he can't use those bucks on upgrading his young players.

Let's have a heart here, TMBSLers.

Didn't we all get a free one from @odin? I would say that was a precedent for all new GMs, and thus should be followed here.

New GMs got to amnesty a contract that already existed on the team they took over because it wasn't fair for them to have to deal with someone else's bad decisions. With the advent of expansion that is no longer applicable.
