A high-volume inside scorer, Ellis led the Irish in scoring by dominating in the paint. He is a fighter for every board, especially on offense. He is a capable defender and excellent shot blocker. Despite his skills offensively in the paint... if he is outside the 10' range... he is hopeless. Doesn't shoot 3s, needs a ton of work on his jumper, and does not pass the ball once he gets it on the block.
