The TMBSL Hall of Fame today inducted longtime and championship-winning Maverick and Bull assistant coaches. Compared to the accessions of convicted felon Jake Shuttlesworth and intergalactic war criminal Brain Winters the ceremony itself was unremarkable. "I'm speechless. I am without speech." responded one onlooker when asked for comment and informed that they were watching a Hall of Fame induction and not the opening of a Jamba Juice franchise. Rumblings within this reporter's stomach indicated an acai and responsibly sourced soy smoothie bowl, available now for the low low price of $14.95 plus tax, wouldn't go amiss, but not missed were the rumblings from league sources at potential sanctions on the perennially anonymous Port Land Trail Blazer assistant coach. "I've never laid eyes on the guy and I've been in their weight room at all hours of the night. Not taking questions at this time." offered one defending champion general manager who wished to remain anonymous. The scuttlebutt didn't end there. Also overheard during the induction: "Why else would they change their team name? What else are they trying to hide?" "Is it just a coincidence that so many other Western Division teams keep folding?" "What's the deal with Portland anyway? It's not a port! It's not a land!" Welcome to the TMBSL Hall of Fame Cameron Reddish and Miles Bridges.
