so 12345 are pg sg sf pf c as usual

the inner colored area are the starters where "starter" is defined as the player with the most MP at that position. in your case that's kyrie cam pg13 cisse foyle

the outer colored area is the total WS generated at each position, which is tricky because we only have the position a player enters the game in from the box scores. for starters that's usually not a big deal (and indeed all five of your starters entered every game they played at that position), for backups at multiple positions it can get messy. for example, skylar diggins is listed at PG for 10 games and SG for 67 games. even though kyrie and cam playing about the same minutes could suggest their playing time was probably split about evenly between the two, and they only came into the game at SG more often since cam is old and gets subbed out sooner, there's no way to know for sure, so The Machine assigns 67/77 = 87% of their Win Shares to the 2 part of the graph and the rest to the 1 part, so the gap of the outers of 2 and 3 is even bigger since the starter AND backups at 2 contributed more.
