So let me just quote Eric rea quick here:
“offers were made so the bucks could trade them for dump bucks, setting them up to be in better position for the next GM.”
You say this but then had to turn around and PAY pennies in order to clear their salary?!
How in the world does this make sense and then you determine the trade is mixed
this needs and explanation first and foremost

Can we just rewind and let the Guyton trade go through, as well as the trade with the Suns so the Bucks are under the hard cap, and call everything good? halpert is in both trades, and without him the bucks don't have the contracts to feasibly get under the HC without a lot more rigmarole Whoops. Missed that part. Replace Halpert with Raul Lopez and Jeff Malone (and Colin Ward if necessary) and have Majic cut the necessary players to keep his roster right-sized? Getting into an ugly situation here but I don't mind an exception of sorts being made since Majic and Druce are both notoriously absent on weekends, not that it's my decision.

Is there a 3 way trade with suns/bucks/blazers that we can figure out to make everyone happy and move past this?

the cleanest solution is Bucks pay 50k and amnesties Harvey and allow the Blazers trade to go through.
but that might be a bridge too far at this point.

there was no communication at the time of the trade because i had no indication that druce was going to ignore the cap issue and then quit. it was a serious question before btw, what would commish majic's solution to this situation be? First off, had I made a ruling similar to yours I would have communicated that right from the start. Posting in the thread as well as a Personal message saying “hey if the cap situation doesn’t get corrected then I will not veto this trade.” Mans then I would have also sent texts to individuals when it was clear neither were actually being active on the board over the weekend. In terms of the situation as a whole, I would have judged it in 2 ways. First whether the deal was a fair deal for both parties, and the. I would have ruled on the GM/cap issues. no one had a problem with the deal when it happened, and given the fact he was a sought after player this means a lot. so I would have ruled that the deal stand as a commish should never step in and dictate value unless the league says so. thenwhen it came to the cap/activity level I would have been far more pro-active in trying to talk with Druce. at the end of the day we are dealing with a dying league. Running off/pissing off GMs is the last thing I would want to do. if druce's first post today had been 'amnesty Donnell Harvey' everything would have been fine. and i didn't consider revoking the trade until it looked like druce wasn't going to do that, at which point i noticed the post-trade Bucks as a computeam had no avenue to get under the cap. my expectation was that druce's first move was to amnesty Harvey, or at least by the time sim 1 was posted. i can't communicate an idea i haven't had yet.

Now that Halpert is en route to the Suns, I don't think that works out anymore. Andy scored two decent players who fill holes on his roster and made a few bucks for nothing. I don't think it'd really be fair to ask him to lose out on Halpert at this point, although he's a nice enough guy that he'd surely agree to it (like he did last time we had a controversy).

FWIW I would've traded for one or both of Halpert and Moore if I hadn't made that last-minute move for Alex Reese that occupied the rest of my soft cap.

Perhaps Druce was upset initially and would consider continuing to GM if there was some flexibility shown in this unprecedented situation.

I think we need to figure out what's going on with Druce and if he's willing to look past this so we can all move on.
Majic loses a depth piece in Halpert who would've been better than Lopez and Malone, and the Bucks still get the $2.5mil hard cap penalty next year, so both GMs receive a small punishment as a part of it.

Can the trade stand since it was negotiated with druce as GM and is a fair trade?

I'm fine with the alternate trade I proposed happening even if Druce is quitting, but would understand if it was vetoed as eric did say previously following the Champ Godbolt-to-the-Hawks fiasco that trades with CPU teams wouldn't be happening.

It's not hard to see that Druce came back to make this trade and then bounce.
Druce for Friend of the Decade. That's almost 3 championships he's won for Majic.

I say let the initial trade stand. I say let Majic negotiate a trade with the CompuBucks. A couple of second round picks and he's got Guyton back.

Blazers cut:Dillon Chambers Blazers Send:Isaac Bonga Igor Rakocevic Blazers 15 10k pennies Bucks Send:AJ Guyton Marcus Fizer Raul Lopez Jeff Malone Jackie Moon Confirmed money works. this puts the bucks over the HC with 10 players taking rakocevic out of the trade puts them at 383523 cap space with 9 players the only way to make this work is for the bucks to include Bol. tim if you still want to be involved with this decide on additional value for the Bucks to receive

I say let the initial trade stand. it can't, because the compubucks had to move halpert to get under the cap, and he was part of the initial trade

I don’t understand how the original trade can’t be processed.
Just give Andy his 5k from wherever and let it be down. It’s not like Halpert or Moore were anything that important to him given his team.
Eric is basically saying he doesn’t want to screw over Andy for the expense of myself. When I was originally the one getting screwed over here on a deal that no one had a problem with.
again, if druce posts “amnesty Harvey” this is never a problem, but yet I’m the one getting shafted.
