- Eric’s first class saw a cumulative +13 amongst first rounders. The previous low was +20, so this class is looking grim.
- Samuel Dalembert went at 1.20 to the Pacers and had the best TC of any of the rookies with a solid +5, including bumps to inside and defense and +2 to rebounding. Next best was Gilbert Arenas at +3.
- h/t eric for the macro

No dream teen TC for Z-Bo, but the Bucks should afford him plenty of time to develop. I still think he deserved to go 1.1.
2. Vancouver Grizzlies (from Wizards) - Shane Battier SF 6'9'' 225 22

Battier’s defense grade was nice to start, and the outside grade seemed serviceable, but to justify 1.2 I think he was going to need some scoring help in TC and he saw just the opposite. Not ideal.
3. Houston Rockets - Gilbert Arenas PG 6'3'' 195 20

Solid growth all around for Arenas, who had the second best TC in the class. Would’ve liked a bump in inside, but we’ve seen plenty of guards with low inside/high outside become perfectly good scorers.
4. Washington Wizards (from Raptors) - Pau Gasol C 7'1'' 220 21

Love the inside boost, but C/C D/R grades really scare me. I could see Pau ending up struggling in the same way Dirk did.

I’ll take it. Was hoping for more natural outside growth but if Parker can score efficiently inside and not turn it over I won’t be mad. Don’t need a high volume guy.

Ouch. Between Richardson and Boumtje Boumtje that Pistons had two of the three worst draft picks in the class. It’s probably because they were called the Nuggets when the draft was occurring.

Nice. Wallace needed help outside to become a respectable scorer, and the D/R grades look awesome for a guy who could play SF or SG.

Overall this is a net positive for Fecta as the bump in defense should outweigh the loss in handles. But should a big with C rebounding have gone at 1.12? Jason Collins went at 1.20 and was a net +3 better than Kwame in his draft profile.

By far the best TC among rookies. Great growth all around and has the grades to be playable right away. More depth for the Pacers in a stacked Central.

Had better D/R grades than Curry to start and was the same everywhere else. Really like the high rebounding grade and good enough inside grade but no growth at all is a bit scary.
