BK Blathers: What’s the Deal with Dele? And other hot topics
Something is going on in Sacramento, and this time it isn’t just herpes. Bison Dele is quickly putting together a monster season for the beleaguered Kings squad. Averaging around 30-12 on 52% shooting through six games, the royal sophomore is quickly putting up what some pundits are calling “The greatest stat line in the Kingsdom”.
Here with more on this change is our mammalian correspondent Buffalo Billy, sitting down with the one and only Bison Dele.
Buffalo: I’m just going to get right to the meat of the conversation here:
What are you eating that has led to this drastic change in production? I want to step lightly (which is hard for a Buffalo), but did you start working out or something?
Bison: None of that shit. I’ve been smoking weed every day and concentrating on eating as much grass as possible.
Buffalo: Great? Or Greatest? Hahaha Hahaha
All joking aside, I’d like to talk about some of the other teams and GMs who were particularly bruising in their evaluation of you, from being passed on in the draft, to being skewered in Pig Proclaims! And being declared “the worst pick ever” by JHB. Is there anything you’d like to say to these sim league personalities about the real/perceived slights?
Bison: While I don’t have anything directly to say to any of these players, I’d like to point out that I was quite a steal as 1.5, regardless of how cool a name Zan Tabak is. While my draft profile may not have been entirely accurate (listed at 235 lbs, when I typically weigh between 1,200-2,000 lbs), I thought the results of the combine would speak for themselves. I wish all of the GMs that have criticized me the best of luck. Certainly Desmond Mason will be a much better PF than I, and The Hawks seem to be poised to once again meet their goal of #1 lottery odds.
