You're never gonna believe this but Brain Winter was the deserved PG. I can't think of a better signal of how much we changed from 4.0 to 5.0 than an Aaron Harrion / Kyrie Irving tier point guard getting run from the Finals by the likes of the great Quincy McCall and the pretty good Jordan McLaughlin.
Players with 12+ WS by position: 2 points (and one of them isn't even worth a MAX), 2 wings, 3 bigs. Pretty nice distribution. Real solid.
With 11+ WS: 3, 4, 5. Nice.

Fractional favorites Pacers getting shut out makes a little more sense when you realize #2 SG Victor Oladipo is treated as a PG by the software, and he's #4 there, and there ain't no All-NBA Fourth Team. Throw in Taurasi missing 20 games there being no D in the name Peterson and it all adds up.

By far the biggest overperformers of WS are the Mavs, a full ten past the post. I don't remember a case where both fractional odds and Win Shares were so dead set against an overall #1 seed, but hey, there's a reason it's called the Worstern Conference ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lamo
Even more worrisome for Big Ol' Michael Strahan's Dallas is that the second biggest underperformer of WS are the Suns, whom they are likely to face in the second round if they can get past the Seattle Buzzsaw of Ladder Darling Dale Ellis. But hey, maybe the Suns lose in the first round and you can go up against Billion Time Eternal MVP God King Brain Winter instead. So you've got that going for you.
