Going to give this another shot, hopefully it'll be a little cleaner, less umms and ahhs, less misspeaks, sticking a little closer to the notes I make, etc. I need some mailbag questions so please feel free to post below or PM me if you'd like. TIA Here is the current plan which may be adjusted between now and then. - 5 Points On - What’s the big story? Any big changes, trades or injuries[/span]? What are some potential deadline trade moves? Playoff race: who's in, who's out? Draft class preview. - Power Ranks Top 10 update - Mailbag - Please send in your questions - Get to know your host: Personal mailbag questions or story time -------------------------------------------------- Here you are, skrouse's 2 cents: A Podcast Episode II

Bump, pod link in OP
Here are my Power Rankings 1(5) Dallas Mavericks (43-14) Top 10 Wins: 14(6) - Magic(H,A), Jazz(A,H,A), Hornets(A,H), Suns(A), Bucks(A,H), Clippers(H), Rockets(H), Globetrotters(H,A), MVP: Cameron Reddish Supporting Cast: George Mikan, Al Harrington Overview: The Mavs ar the big movers as they more than double their top 10 win total they now lead the league with 14. They did lose their 1st H2H matchup with Indiana but we'll see what happens when the teams match up again in Dallas
2(2) Indiana Pacers (42-17) Top 10 Wins: 9(6) - Bucks (H,A), Jazz(H), Magic(A), Rockets(H), Hornets(A,H), Mavs(H), Clippers(H) MVP: Daniel Taurasi Supporting Cast: Victor Oladipo, Morris Peterson Overview: Added 3 top 10 wins, including 1 vs the Mavs, they lost a couple other top match ups but they continue to hold the lead in the tougher of the 2 conferences and currently own the H2H vs Dallas
3(3) New York Knicks (39-20) Top 10 Wins: 10(7) - Bucks(H,A), Pacers(A,H), Hornets(H), Clippers(A), Jazz(A), Mavs(A), Suns(H), Globetrotters(A) MVP: Firsto Picko Supporting Cast: Brandon Griner, Jock Landale, Nick King Overview: Adding 3 top 10 wins keeps the Knicks in the #3 spot and the teams effeciency has really increased since the addition of Nick King. We'll see if the trend continues and they can overtake the Magic in the standings
4(1) Phoenix Suns (43-20) Top 10 Wins: 6 - Clippers (H,A), Pacers(A), Jazz(H), Hornets(A), Mavs(A) MVP: Hakeem Olajuwon Supporting Cast: Stephon Templeton, Max Zaslofsky, Qyntel Woods Overview: Still at 6 top 10 Ws, lost all 5 opportunities to add 1 since last update, they have slide down 3 spots
5(8) Orlando Magic (42-23) Top 10 Wins: 12(6) - Rockets(H), Knicks(H,A,A), Hornets(H,A,H), Bucks(A,H), Suns(A,H), Jazz(H) MVP: Guy Beahm Supporting Cast: Clarence Withers, Jason Williams (addition) Overview: The addition of Jason Williams and doubling their top 10 W total from 6 to 12 bumps the Magic men up 3 spots to 5th in the standings. The true test will be to see if the team can gather some constistent form and also beat the bad teams to stay ahead of the streaking Knicks
6(4) Houston Rockets (36-20) Top 10 Wins: 12(8) - Mavs(H,A), Magic(H), Pacers(H), Clippers(H,A,H,A), Suns(A,H), Jazz(H), Knicks(H) MVP: Brain Winter Supporting Cast: Antawn Jamison* Overview: A bit of a mixed bag in Houston, they did add 4 more top 10 wins and have the leading MVP candidate in Brain Winter running the show, but relative to othe teams they have a lot of games left to play, 26. Plenty of more opportunities for them to rise in the ranks as the season rolls on
7(6) Utah Jazz (42-21) Top 10 Wins: 6(3) - Knicks(A), Rockets(H,H), Pacers(H), Clippers(A,H) MVP: Gary Bossert Supporting Cast: Yante Maten, Mustapha Heron & Sarunas Jasikevicius Overview: Doubling their top 10 Ws sadly only puts the Jazz at 6 for the year, and is not enough to keep them in the 6th spot. They fall 1 spot to 7 as there were a lot of missed opportunites in the last set of sims to make a statement, as I count 6 Ls to teams in the top 10, which doesn't bode well for a playoff run for Utah
8(UR) Harlem Globetrotters (40-24) Top 10 Wins: 6(4) - Pacers(H), Magic(A,A), Knicks(A), Suns(H), Hornets(H) MVP: Dolph Schayes Supporting Cast: Dazon Ingram, Shamorie Ponds, Elvis Delle Donne Overview: Woah! Here's the Globetrotters we all expected. After winning 19 of 24 since the All Star Break, including a 13 game streak, Harlem finds themselves in my top 10. They had 4 top 10 Ws the first half of the year but they've only added 2 more. We'll see if they can keep it up as their schedule gets a bit tougher down the stretch.
9(7) Charlotte Hornets (38-25) Top 10 Wins: 9(4) - Knicks(H,H), Bucks(A), Rockets(A), Jazz(H), Bucks(A,H,H), Magic(H) MVP: Yao Ming Supporting Cast: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Vince Carter Overview: A very busy set of sims, only 4 days off in the last 30, has given the Hornets 5 additional top 10 Ws, 3 of which came against no longer top 10 Milwuakee Bucks. There were opportunities for more however, and that coupled with the Hot Trotters is the reason Charlotte finds themselves down 2 spots in the current ranks
10(9) Los Angeles Clippers (39-21) Top 10 Wins: 9(5) - Bucks(H), Magic(A,H), Mavs(H), Suns(H), Pacers (H), Jazz(A,H), Knicks(H) MVP: Sam Perkins Supporting Cast: Luke Maye, DeAndre Ayton, Markell Johnson Overview: The Clippers continue to sip Mai Tais on the sunny beaches of LA as they add 4 top 10 Ws and stroll right through the Pacifier division, I mean Pacific. But as the only team above .500 in that division they aren't challenged much. And winning less than half of their most recent top 10 matchups is only be enough to keep them at #10.
11(10) Milwaukee Bucks (33-27) Top 10 Wins: 7(6) - Clippers(H), Knicks(H), Magic(A), Jazz(H), Suns(H,A), Pacers(H) MVP: Jay Williams Supporting Cast: Champ Godbolt, Malcolm Moore, Troy Brown Overview: Only 1 additional top 10 W is not enough to keep Bucks in the top 10, they slide out after a rough set of sims, while Harlem hops into the ranks for the 1st time

10,000.
Who are your top 10 PGs? Brain obviously #1, but with Bobby McDermott withering away in Vancouver, how would you rank everyone else?
As for the Neon trade, it basically came down to expiring conracts this year and a crappy first or expiring contracts next year and Dajuan Wagner. I was willing to take a chance on a high-potential 20-year-old who went 4th overall. Also, with Mason expiring this season, I have no idea what he will be asking for and I feel a bit more comfortable entering next offseason with cap space when no one I really care about will need to be resigned.
