TimPig I think you forgot the picks or bucks. He is getting Neon and a buyout. I'd expect at least 2 firsts.

I guess Tim values Wagner When you get a chance to acquire a PG with 4.5 TO/36, you don't flinch if you're the Bulls GM.

Offers for Neon were weak, which I'll get into in a second. Wagner's TOs are a major issue, but I'm hoping that playing him at SG may cut down on those a bit, as well as the +25 and offseason camp he still has left, and the fact that he's only 20. He may be a lost cause, but at his age, I'm willing to take the risk and see if he can turn out to be a good scorer. AngryPig I think you forgot the picks or bucks. He is getting Neon and a buyout. I'd expect at least 2 firsts. On principle, I'd never accept your offer. Publicly posting that I'm over the hard cap in order to give yourself leverage so that I'd take your shitty offer of one first in the mid-20s is a scumbag move and I wasn't going to be taken like that. Playing the whole "I'm fine missing out on him" card was the cherry on top.

I posted you were over the hard cap because it is in the league's best interest that we follow the rules. I am a man of integrity and your spurious accusations of ulterior motives is tantamount to slander per se. Cease and desist from your improvable accusations or face the consequences.
Also, one pick in the late 20s and expirings (all with birds so you can resign and use them as expirings for future trades) is positive value. Langford is a buyout and Wagner is a below average PG prospect.
The fact of the matter is that Neon is a marginal upgrade to Bol and would have modestly bolstered my big rotation at the sake of depth. I was then, and I continue to be, fine missing out on Neon. I just find it entertaining that you took a worse deal. To know you willingly accepted a worse deal out of spite is some Tyler level shit that makes this even better.

Please spend your time filing another cease and desist. If it gives you even more incentive, I can even call the police. Also, one pick in the late 20s and expirings (all with birds so you can resign and use them as expirings for future trades) is positive value. Keep doing you, Ian.

You have to take the statement in the context of my team, which is an outside team with three studs at PG, SG, and SF. Neon is a better scorer than Bol, but not any better than Taurasi, Peterson, and Oladipo. So the efficiency gain from Neon to Bol is mitigated by the fact that he's taking shots from similar efficiency players, while Bol is a no-shoot big. Bol's D/R stats are better (2.8 bleals and 12.1 rebounds per 36 for Bol versus 2.7 bleals and 9.6 rebounds per 36 from Neon).
So, like I said, a marginal improvement.

So, like I said, a marginal improvement. neither Oladipo nor Peterson are on Neon's level as a scorer, plus if one of them get injured you have Neon soaking up the extra touches instead of Chalky Studebaker when all's said and done, at the end of the day the bottom line is that you can never have too many good players

Neon has really become a locker room problem since leaving Big D
