Blame the forfeit/skips
The official criteria is "pick within x of previous pick"
so if a pick is skipped due to time running out, the next person gets no bucks

Am I being penalized for the time on pick 20? I gave a list to Tim and I had softball stuff, came home and went to bed. Woke up, saw my pick was up in the AM and made my pick right away.

You continue to support this rule despite its unfairness. You believe in an orderly rule of law even where the law is not just. You are lawful neutral.

Did you remove that? sure, i'll pretend this question is asked in good faith the clock is stopped at 22:59 the clock starts again at 11:00 hence if a pick is made at 22:59 and the next pick is made at 11:01, bonus i also count the bonus if a pick is made within 2 hours even if those hours are off clock if a pick is not made within 2 hrs of real time or clock time, there's no bonus i've made a copy of this to paste for next year when you people rehash this for the umpteenth time

Lawful neutral. Your slavish adherence to literal interpretation of a rule results in a counterproductive incentive. If your pick comes up during a dead clock and you're, I don't know, sleeping, you are better off waiting until the live clock to get your bonus. A fair and just rule that would correctly incentivize making timely picks would be to kill the clock during a dead period. Here is an example: Pick 1 is made at 22:30 - the clock stops at 22:59 with 29 minutes passing on a live clock Pick 2 is made at 02:30 - this is 4 hours after the last pick, but only 29 minutes of live clock. This should get credit. This person should not be incentivized to wait until 11:01 to make a pick. Pick 3 is made at 6:30 - this is 3 hours after the last pick, but no minutes have passed of a live clock. This should get credit. This person should not be incentivized to wait until 11:01 to make a pick. Pick 4 is made at 10:59 - this is 4 hours and 29 minutes after the last pick, but no minutes have passed of a live clock. This should get credit. This person should not be incentivized to wait until 11:01 to make a pick. A lawful good alignment would realize adherence to the law you're following has perverse results. A perfect summary: "Lawful neutral beings are concerned with the letter of the law, but rarely the spirit." easydamus.com/lawfulneutral.html

A perfect summary: "Lawful neutral beings are concerned with the letter of the law, but rarely the spirit." easydamus.com/lawfulneutral.htmlthe point of incentivizing draft picks is not because draft picks in and of themselves are good, it's so the next person doesn't have to wait, because making people wait is wrong if people were incentivized to pick at any hour, the next person could find themselves on the clock at any hour, and through no fault of their own cause the next next person to wait that's why i reward for picks made within real time even if not clock time (even though that's not the letter of the law), because that way the next person can know exactly how long the current person will be incentivized to pick the problem isn't that i emphasize the letter of the law over the spirit, it's that i disagree what the spirit is any of those picks being incentivized to wait until 11:01 is not a bug, it's a feature, because that way the person after them knows precisely when they will be expected to pick.

That was a bad troll Clyde. Be best.
If you honestly believe that is a rational way to think about draft timeliness rewards, please let me know so I can help your neutral alignment toward good. But I assume you meant that as a troll, in which case let’s not waste both our time.
