The Sim League Sun Times received several tips late Thursday night that Sacramento Kings swingman Grayson Allen, recently embattled in a contract controversy, has had a falling out with longtime agent and consigliere Dyke Shuuchefsky.
Allen called Shuuchefsky to a business meeting at Sacramento's finest dining establishment, Applebees, where the two discussed the intricacies of the deal Allen signed with the Kings last offseason. Unknown to Allen at the time, and revealed by Shuuchefsky over an appetizer sampler, was a team option the Kings held to bring Allen back for 2 additional seasons on top of the season Allen had just completed.
Upon receiving this news Allen attempted to trip and injure Shuuchefsky leaving the men's washroom of the Applebees. Things escalated when Shuuchefsky bit at Allen's ankles and Allen "accidentally" kicked Shuuchefsky in the face. Authorities were called but no charges were filed as the two described the incident as a "lovers quarrel".
Attempts were made to contact the King's King, Bill, but the Times was told he was "balls deep in a turkey sandwich."
Allen and Shuuchefsky maintain their shared residence in Sacramento and have declined comment, but have confirmed their business relationship has been severed. Allen has since reported back to the Kings.
