WHAT A SEASON, shit gone wild. Dumb picks, weird trades made new faces show up around the joint and we love it.
Let's start with the usual guys.
Ankly - Prehistoric Jazz
Seriously, we know you guys were perfect but you were suppose to stop annoying people this year. Just when we thought the Jazz were vanishing after losing early (for them) past season, they got their shit togheter and got back on top of the WC playoffs.
eric - just cause it's eric Knicks
Roster name changes, Knicks remain the same. The stats guru has proven to be the best there is with his constant moves to get stars and continue to win every season while not drafting. This time they added Neon to the already great line of Firsto and Jock to finish the season as 2nd seed, making it to the EC Finals once again.
Fecta - wtf Hornets
Disgustingly, Muzunga's lucky season is the result of sticking to the plan. More like a price for cleaning house and building through draft than a display of GM skills, Fecta earns the right to be in the conversation after a great eastern conference season, reaching 1st seed and EC Semi-Finals. He also might be set for the remaining of the decade.
Heebs - Fuck me I drafted Gobert instead of Oladipo Pacers
The silent killer, the bold move he did was trading for Oladipo since he already had a good core led by Taurasi. Everybody was having a bit of fun with the trade at the moment, for the love Heebs had for Dipo. He's laughing now with a ring on his hand, check mate.
HM: Delap, Pete, Taco
Hella busy, sorry for the poor thread. CHOOSE BETWEEN THESE MOTHER FUCKERS.

Abstaining from voting, because I was clearly the top GM of 2006.

Also why is Taco on here.
Nothing against Taco but his team went 35-47.

If remaining in the unweighted lotto gets you an honorable mention, why aren't you mentioned?

My vita for 2006:
1. Swapped Neon for Mikan. Sacrificing nothing in the statistical or wins column, while moving to a younger player and getting bucks and a Knicks 1st in the process. 2. Took a big chance at the high school dance with a Mr. who was ready to play (meaning I drafted and started Marcus Taylor) 3. Bulked up my bench with savvy veterans (Galmuseeth and Camacho) 4. Led the league in wins, never slowing down while other teams (cough*fecta*cough) collapsed.

Feel like it was clearly Delap, who was unlucky in the playoffs.

This was a test in which you failed. The deserving GMOY would never beg for votes or pat themselves on the back.

I voted for Muzunga for a lot of reasons. First, obviously, he provided the bulletin board material Taurasi needed. Second, without his GMing Oladipo would have been a super sub and not playoff MVP. Third, because if I vote for myself apparently I lose Fason's vote. We in Indiana are too humble to do something as self promoting as vote for ourselves. I almost hesitate to mention that, but I think it serves as a good example to the kids out there. If you want to see sportsmanship in action, look no further than your Indiana Pacers.

Are you really questioning my integrity like that?
