I would prefer the current method.
It would only be interesting to a handful of GM's after R1 is over so the majority of the league would be checked out

rarely, but the playoffs have always kind of sucked and been underwhelming and i would like to find a way to change that

Let's do playoffs via video conference. Pick an hour in the evening to do it and just sim live with people that call in shooting the shit and making changes on the fly.

I just don't think stretching it out is the answer as the interest in it diminishes over time due to lack of participants the further it goes along. Especially with the breaks between sims. Live playoffs may fix the problem. |

If I've got a conflict and can't join, so be it. I think it would provide the most enjoyment possible for the playoffs. We could do all sorts of fun stuff like live bets. |
