He's efficient, doesn't turn the ball over and passes well. if last year was his true talent level, maybe, but players don't generally see such huge jumps in 2P%, and the jump in 3P% only gets him to where Outside Grade and FT% says he ought to have been anyway. and even if we agreed on him on an absolute scale, top three isn't an absolute scale, it's a relative one. for Turner to be top three you can only put one of Collin Sexton, Max Zaslofsky, Bobby McDermott, Quincy McCall, and Ray McCallum Jr. ahead of him. (Brain Winter is clearly #1, hopefully we can all agree on that.) i would put all of them ahead of him, so to my mind he's nowhere close, but even if you only put two ahead of him it's already over. |
