Minutes ago the league aproved the deal that would send the former MVP Collin Sexton to Washington in exchange of a package that includes a bounch of guys we barely care and multiple first round picks (some of them worth granola). Wolves also cut two other guys that were hanging around their gym.
With this move is proven that Washington wants to go back to their previous seasons where they could compete and Minnesota begins their renewal getting back their pick and plenty of assets. We had a few words with the two times All-Star and one time All-Star MVP and he was excited for this new opportunity. When asked what were his thoughts about joining the Wiz he was adamant "Yeah, whatever, get me the hell out of here" was his answer.
We also heard of Minny's GM Ian Boyd, "We're thankful for what Collin did for this organization, were a great 5 years and he'll be really missed. He's a great player in this league and wish him good luck trying to compete with that roster". We also asked him about what's next for the Wolves, "We'll we got our pick back and so much granola that we don't even know where to start to rebuild this thing but we're sure we can get back to competition real quick".
