Based on what JHB has said, a definite shot blocking cap. It sounds like just getting that number closer to what we see IRL would make a significant difference on the impact bigs can have.

Also, posting was incentivized in 4.0 by getting an RC for every 100 posts.
Since box score rewards are going away, what about a dump buck reward every X amount of posts?
Like for every 500 posts you get 5,000 dump bucks? Not sure if those are the right numbers, but it would incentivize participation and the commish could determine if someone is just being a spammer and not give them the reward.
I was in the league for about a year and had like 2,500 posts which would've given me 25,000 dump bucks, or enough for almost one SC per sim season.

That may be slightly irrelevant if we totally revamp how we do rewards for players.

Also, just saw the Trading rule thread.
Based on a couple of trades and controversies we had towards the end of 4.0, what if some sort of voting system on trades was implemented for vetoing so the commish doesn't have to make the tough decision and be the bad guy?
Seems like 99% of trades go through, but if there were some kind of veto power among the populace where, say, 2/3 of GMs voted to veto a trade it would be vetoed?

Anything to incentivize participation. I like points as the new reward system. Probably less confusing than SCs/RCs, which it took me a bit to fully understand when I first started.

couple things:
- I like the idea of the new points system for upgrading. being able to break down each point will be nice
- trade commission is nice, but I dont think we will have many trade problems. big reason for alot of those trades was the league dying and limited participation
- agree on the shot blocking change. just overall having the ability to use different built teams to win
- big fan of G-League, even if its a limited games. but overall I like a situation where we can get additional information on prospects.
- G League Idea - you can have up to 15 platers on your roster. 12 are active to play. 3 can play in g-league along with 5-7 other guys on the G-League roster**
***any player on your g-league roster can be signed by another team as if they were a FA

way i'm seeing the g league right now...it's a totally different league, different file and everything, where players who haven't played a minute in the regular season or playoffs and weren't lotto picks can stay and play each other each season. everyone has a team. players who get rewards earn free upgrades. maybe, HARD MAYBE, on two way contracts. probably a big enough "salary cap" to keep 3-4 guys each, rosters would be filled with average generic players.
