I'm not entirely sure how long I am for commishing. This is very quickly becoming more of a job than something that is enjoyable. I'm not saying this is my last season, or next is or anything, and I don't have a timetable, I'm just saying it would be wise to have someone lined up in the event that I do determine that I'm done.

I think I'd like to give it a go, if people are OK with that. I'd need to get the software and would have a big learning curve, but I'm on all the time and have a pretty flexible job situation where I think I could do most of the work not at home, which seems to be the biggest hindrance.
My team is never going to make it over the hump, it seems.

This is probably blasphemous but if we're turning over commissioners again and we continue with our inability to replace GMs, at what point do we try and start over with a new software that allows for contraction?
I know there are issues with the new software and it requires being involved, but it seems like if we work with 20ish active GMs who are active and want to learn it, we'll be better off than having a bunch of compuGM teams or teams who are barely managed.

i think it makes more sense for delap to take over than odin. having more people who know about commishing is better imo.
i think moving to the new software is a bad idea. i think there are plenty of options for compu teams, which we can talk about more if druce or the next commish wants. i will be around in any case.

I want to re-iterate that I'm not quitting right now, and I fully support 👨🏼⚕️delapandemic🚑 or @odin to take over once I hang it up. I'm not sure new software is a good idea really. |
