Sources close to the Magic organization have confirmed that GM skrouse has yet again submitted a trade bid to GM fason for veteran wing man Jake Shuttlesworth. Though fason has shot down skrouse in the past, the source confident that the stagnant market for the aging veteran will help lower the price and ultimately land him in the O-rena. When asked to elaborate on previous and current offers the source only provided the fact that skrouse "Continues to build" on his original offer, which we now know centered around Azubuike, no pun intended.
Fason has repeatedly made it clear that big man's less than stellar, often regarded as complete shit, FT % is a deal breaker but that won't stop skrouse from pushing the 7 footer's $8 million expiring contract as a bargaining chip. The source made skrouse's viewpoint clear, "Udoka's contract alone makes the deal possible, if fason doesn't value him that much, he can view it as an equivalent expiring which has value in it's own right."
The Orlando fan base is buzzing with excitement hoping their beloved GM can pull off a deal off, which may be enough to cement the Magic as the top team in the East when they square off against last season's surprise up and comer Chicago Bulls or established former champ, the New York Knicks.
