Public earnings for TMBSL (MSL) were posted yesterday and showed diminishing returns. Sim Street Journal speculates an over saturation from the league's new media platform is to blame. Darren Rovell reports.
In an ever changing journalistic landscape, the Main Board Sim League has attempted to keep up with the times, but this time it appears their efforts are wearing thin.
"It's just...too much" said Corky Bucek, long time TMBSL fan. "A lot of times the news I'm reading is much ado about nothing."
New online polls have echoed Mr. Bucek's sentiments. TMBSL fans by and large have been subject to a flood of news and speculation, and the appetite for such a platform doesn't seem to be able to digest all it's being fed. Financial reports released Wednesday show a league revenue dip while also showing a large expenditure in the marketing division. This has led commissioner D. Ruce Dickinson to act swiftly.
"Moving forward we need to decrease spending when it comes to our PR and marketing departments. One of our accountants has been taking advantage of an incentive program rolled out and it's led to the league spending much more than previously thought" Dickinson said.
This being said, news ticker posts are now worth 1500 pennies instead of the previous 3500. Also, everyone is able to post stuff, not just Tim, if you guys weren't aware.

For the record, I have claimed all of 0 pennies on the ticker entries I've written. Well you should be claiming all of them, I put the incentive out there, you're just the only one to use it.
