So, Draft is about to be done, FA is ages away for us that suffer anxiety so I thought we could spice up the next hours of boredom. I haven't seen this shit done before so I might aswell take the bull by the horns and start some discussion around here. This is unofficial, so the winner gets w/e the fuck they give me for writting this crap. Here we go:
Ankly-Ank - Utah Champs
Well, the obvious take here. The man not only went from past year's semis to getting rings to all his players but also keep the pace and improved past season record without any major moves besides adding Cat. Nothing much to add, path to championship obviously started when he traded for my Kevin Nash. Pretty sure that was it.
Trofie - Surprise Bucks From 34-48 to 51-31 6th seed and the Finals. Despite getting swept the fuck up by Ank this is a great season for the franchise and it happened just by NOT drafting fucking Michael fucking Jordan(fucking fuck). Got Ayton, added Champ, Pierce and made a couple of good market moves for the depth. Timpig - Chicago Who? Exactly, who in the flying fuck was expecting that bounch of promising youngster explode like right now just by adding Halpert? Another lotto team that started from nowhere, from 31-51, to 8th seed to ECF. Not to mention the age of the guys Timmy has assembled is great so he's kind of set up for the years to come. Suck it, Fecta. wee2dee/ fason - The usual suspectsNot gonna waste time telling you these guys keep going strong in their respective conferences. Ward improved his season record and Fason was soo rich he started playing with his team around just to share with the poor people down here. Well, let the games begin. I expect a clean fight, many insults for billy and dumps bad attitude everywhere, if this is fucking legal I can do it every season. Poll will close once Druce shows up so he can vote too. |

This strikes me as something that would be defined as a "Press Conference" per Odin's designation when he was commish.

Allow me to lobby quickly for Ank over TimPig. Tim's team finished 2 games over .500. Ank's finished 48 games over .500. Tim went on a miracle run as the 8 seed, Ank's team lost 2 games total in the playoffs.
One might argue that Tim exceeded expectations while Ank simply met them, but I don't think he should be penalized for building the best team in the league.

I guess we have a philosophical difference. I think each of the moves that went into building a team should be taken into account, not just the moves that happened in one season. Also, I would rate Ank's trade for Catfish as more impressive/impactful than any moves Tim and Trofie did this season |
