I'm kinda toying with doing what heebs did and negotiating trades, doing upgrades etc. for them. Giving each compu team an allotment of dump bucks every season or something as well so we don't have some players just kinda wasting away. I'd recommend that. Since we have the dump buck spreadsheet, they will have bucks. I'd also give someone a job (I'd volunteer for the right pay, which I guess is not volunteering as much as putting my name in the ring) of adding up the non-box score rewards for the CompuTeams. With 10k for missing the playoffs and all that, they'll have plenty of bucks to upgrade players. I would NOT suggest giving GMs a second team. As for drafting, pick the positions of need, see who the software suggests as an auto-pick for that position, and use that. It will almost always pick a top 2-3 player you would have picked for the team (in my relatively brief experience). the problem with using the software that way is that the commish has to a) be around and b) have the draft completely up to date to use it, and if we skip and a human team picks that player later it's chaos. |

Something I just thought of, every season, randomly selected GM gets to post a draft profile of their choosing, could be a character, themself, literally whatever they want except a real player. Thoughts? Wouldn't have to worry about grade caps since I'd be making them just based off their profile

Designing a custom player should be reserved only for an outgoing commishs as part of the compensation/thank you package.
