Mike! The long national nightmare in Denver is over (maybe)! And it looks like we may have finally had the right guy taken at 1.1 and he might not be a total bust. Kemp’s inside should be one of the best in the league based on his write-up, and his semi-lacking D/R skills both get a fix in his first TC. Mike should be thrilled.

Eric must really have it out for Majic, forcing his 1.2 pick to go MINUS-2 in his scoring grades, which is really all Rice had going for him when he was taken. C’mon, commish. Go easy on the guy.
3. Golden State Warriors - Cliff Robinson PF 6'10'' 225 21

Not mad, but was hoping for a bump in the rebounding department. Profile tells me this guy should be a pretty awesome inside scorer/blealer.
Pig Bomb: the Warriors offered Cliff Robinson, Ricardo Strong, a future first, Kenny Gattison, and Eddy Curry for Rui Hachimura. Fecta was interested “until he saw Cliff’s profile”. After eric announced on the pod that he thought Cliff was a good candidate for 1.1, Fecta said he’d accept the trade, at which point it was too late because of the Warriors’ cap situation.
4. Washington Bullets - George McCloud SF 6'6'' 200 22

McCloud wasn’t a guy I had near the top of my “big board”, but I overlooked him because I saw a lot of C-somethings in his gradeset and the Warriors weren’t in need of wings. I can see why Kn was interested as his scoring grades actually look really nice, but the lack of improvement in his initial TC is worrisome.
5. Houston Rockets - Randy White PF 6'8'' 245 21

Pete isn’t going to read this so I won’t go too in depth. I wanted White at 1.3 for the Warriors but went with Cliff instead because his defense grade was higher and I figured rebounding was more likely to improve than defense.

Not a bad TC but I would’ve preferred some scoring growth. At 1.6 I want a big who can score, and the B- inside grade is no guarantee so I am worried about Reid’s potential.

I really expected Hardaway to have better starting grades after he graced the cover of NBA Live 98, but when I saw them he was removed from my lottery big board. Doesn’t look like he’ll ever be a great scorer and is allergic to rebounding. The defense bump might mean he gets some steals? Maybe?

Hey not bad. Plus-2 defense to start is massive. Vlade probably should’ve been picked a lot higher than 1.9. I wish it was 2021 so I could make a 2020 joke LMBO RITE IAN?!?!?!!

Should have some of the best potential in the class based on profile. +25 inside and Elliott could be a powerhouse scorer and has the SG eligibility that Qyntel Woods does not.
