From the mines of West Virginia, to the frozen fields of Minnesota, Randy Moss has lit up the scoreboard in the college and professional football ranks. Bored of football, he has decided to pull his own MJ and try his hand at basketball. Executives are as bewildered as scouts over this move, but that hasn't stopped the hype train from coming to TMBSL. Randy Moss's pedigree makes GMs drool when putting him in the shooting guard position. An extremely fast player, during pre-draft scrimmages, Moss has been seen easily outrunning his man to catch half court heaves in transition to score with ease. His supreme catching on the football field shows up here as a very fine-tuned handling set that allows him to rarely commit turnovers. He's as unafraid of taking contact on the court as you would expect from a newly retired football player, barreling his way inside against bigger men and finishing strong, with explosive leaping ability. However, his shot could use some work as some scouts have whispered he's having trouble making more than 60% of his free throws in the short workout sessions. His 3 point shooting is actually a bit better in the corner leading scouts to believe he could improve on both given time. Unfortunately, at age 26, Randy does not have a lot of time, and scouts think his performance should peak within a couple years upon entering the league.
Defensively, Randy is a hard-nosed player that likes to go for flashy steals over solid fundamentals. He tends to go hard for rebounds on his and his teammates' misses to try to get a score, but is more lackadaisical on the other end.
