A really, really rough stone in need of polishing, Davis' growth will entirely be based on how much patience and development his team is willing to expend. His physical attributes are everything you would want in a bruising D/R big man. His actual basketball skills are pretty sketchy though. He is a hard-worker though, should shine in interviews, and most scouts agree that his potential is absolutely there... just not to expect a positive contribution in year one (or maybe two?). His FT% has improved all 4 years in college, from unplayable (43%) to merely very bad (62%) by his senior season. The best trait he has exhibited thus far is a strong custody of the ball... he plays within his game and rarely turns it over.
