Mfiondu Kabengele PF 6'10" 250 20 Florida State
Led the Seminoles in scoring (13.2 ppg) this past season despite coming off the bench and playing just 21.6 minutes per game, Mfi takes advantage of his limited playing time and dominates both ends of the floor. A fantastic jump-shooter and 3pt shooter for a big, Kabengele projects to be a strong scorer in TMBSL from all 3 levels of scoring. He's a tenacious offensive-rebounder, so he finds cheap points via extra possessions too. On the opposite end he is an above-average rebounder as well. Dikembe Mutombo's nephew, he has the family gene for shot-blocking, as Kabengele averaged over 2.5 blocks in ACC play for the year. He's a strong defender in the post, but is far too slow out on the perimeter for TMBSL. He lumbers up and down the court and doesn't have quick twitch moves or lateral speed. He is a poor passer and dribbler... but those can likely be improved by putting him in the right system. He has shown a knack for rising to the occasion in big games, so he's not afraid of the spotlight in the big league.
