Coby White PG 6'5" 192 20 UNC
An aggressive scoring mentality but also unselfish passer of the ball, Coby is a shifty player with an excellent first step that allows him to blow by defenders. White can score anywhere on the floor, either getting his own shot off the dribble or catch and shoot situations. He has a quick and accurate release. Adjusts his body midair on challenging layups. Can hit from deeeeep as well, so he is an immediate threat on offense from Day 1. Drives aggressively to the hoop, drawing contact. Can finish at or above the rim with either hand and regularly finishes difficult layups. Great at penetrating and drawing fouls to get to the foul line. Needs to cut down on TOs, as most college guards do, but his comes more from trying to do too much... not inability to handle the rock. He may need to slow down a step to be at his most effective. Not a rebounder at all, despite his height at PG... which may be impacted by his limited hops. Many scouts see him as the biggest riser in the class, though, so future growth is very possible.
